When Peter and Poppy finally reached the hospital Peter was very weak. He had been pushing himself hard to get all the way there, so once they went through the main entrance he collapsed and fainted. A few nurses ran over to him to assist.

Poppy gasp in surprise and bend down and grabbed his arm and helped the nurses get him up and take him to his room "jeez if it was getting difficult for you I could have helped a bit more" she mumbled to herself. Once he was on the hospital bed the nurses rolled him off to get him stitched up poppy sat down and held his stick for him.

Peter wakes up in the hospital bed soon after the nurses are done with him. He feels tired, but he's not in as much pain as he was in before he passed out. He sits up in the bed and then carefully stands up. He walks to the door and feels a great improvement, since he has a much easier time walking now than before. He opens the door and comes into a little waiting room of sorts. There sits Poppy with the stick that he had used to get here. He looks at her in surprise and walks up to her.
"I... I wasn't expecting you to stick around and wait for me," he starts. "How long was I out for? he asks somewhat embarrassed.

Poppy looks up at him and chuckles a little "was that a pun" she held out his stick for him " and not that long four to five hours."

Peter takes the stick. "Oh, no it wasn't intended as a pun actually," he says with a smile. "Four or five hours?" He then says in a surprised voice. To him that was a long time, but he obviously needed the rest. "I can't thank you enough, Melody. Helping me - a total stranger - out the way you did and on top of that waiting out here for several hours. I don't know how I can ever repay your kindness." It was getting very late in the day and Peter realised he hadn't had anything to eat since the morning of the day before. "You must be starving after having waited out here for so long," he says. "Allow me to treat you to dinner. I know it's not nearly enough to repay my debt to you, but it's a start. What do you say? Do you like seafood?"

Poppy scratched the back of her head in nervousness "sure, but I'm fine no need to repay me though im sure you would have done the same thing" she stood up smiling brightly.

Peter can't help but smile back at her. They walk outside and find a restaurant just a few blocks away. The sign reads 'Sushi Yaki'. "Does this look good to you, Melody," Peter asks.

"I haven't tried sushi before" she looked at the restaurant in wonder "I was going to one time with a friend but something came up and we ended up having leftover Chinese" she chuckles as she remembers the memory. "sure lets give it a try!"

They enter the restaurant. Inside there's an all you can eat sushi buffet so Peter pays the prize for them and they start filling their plates. Thereafter they sit down by one of the tables with their food. Peter takes his first bite. "Mmmm delicious!" he says. "Almost as good as the sushi I had in a little fisherman village on the coast of Japan once." He leans back in his char a bit and relaxes. He hadn't been able to fully relax like this in a very long time. "You told me you've been traveling around a lot. Where are you originally from?" he asks Melody.

Poppy carefully filled up her plate and sat down opposite of peter she took a small bite and hummed in pure bliss "is it bad that I can't remember?" she said feebly little embarrassed "my parents liked to travel to though they did not travel far like I have we did have a motor home that we lived in and we would like to travel the different places to check out monuments, historical land sights. I was homeschool though during high school I did stay in Australia so I can get an official degree then after that I left to explore my way you know make my own path" She looked down at her food missing home a little bit "sorry I babbled on, what about you where did you originally come from?" She took another bit of her sushi.

"As a matter of fact I don't know exactly where I'm from either actually," Peter confesses. "All I know is that I was born at sea, but I have no clue what sea it was since we sailed all around the world constantly. I was part of that crew from my birth until I was 20. For the past six years I've been traveling alone. My mother was part of the crew too and she was born in Norway, so that's where I've got my heritage. I don't know exactly where my father is from though. In fact, I've never met him, but I would like to. That's why I'm out searching for him now."

Poppy smiled "have you had any clues in finding him, this is a pretty big world for looking for one man, it must be difficult?"

"If truth be told, I haven't had much time to look for him actively until just recently. I had other business that I needed to take care of before I could put all my effort into searching for my father. But now I'm able to do just that. I cast anchor here because I'm on my way to Sparta. Judging by what I know about that city, I think it'll be a good starting point for me if I wanna locate my father."

"not to be weird or anything... but can I join you it will be fun plus it will give me more of a reason to look for more drawing spots" she asked excitedly. "err... well I can also help then just draw plus you will have a traveling buddy!"

At first Peter shows a very slight expression of surprise in response to Melody's words. His ever so slightly surprised facial expression fades rather quickly though and his gaze goes down to the surface of the restaurant table between them. Peter had not expected to find himself a traveling partner here in Kallam, and definitely not like this. He was somehow fascinated by Melody though, and he was filled with a form of joy upon hearing her offer to come with him to Sparta. In his six most recent years of traveling, he had never worked with anybody, but perhaps this was the start of a new chapter. Perhaps things ought to change a bit. He looks back up at Melody with a small smile. "Sounds nice," he replies. "Have you been to Sparta before?"

"sweet" she cheered quietly to herself "No I haven't been there yet I have been exploring this city for some time now. Have you been there?" She took another bite of her food before pushing the plate a little bit ahead of her indicating she has finished eating.

"No I've never been to Sparta either," Peter replies. "I rarely travel that far from the coast - from the ocean - but I can't think of a better place to start my search, so I'll have to go a bit out of my comfort zone and leave the sea behind me for a while." He finishes his meal too and then stands up and starts putting his coat back on. "I hope you enjoyed the buffet."

"I did very much thank you " she smiled softly at him "do you want to head off on your own and we can meet later? get use to the land maybe." she threw her book bag behind her and brushed the loose strand of hair out of her face.

"Sounds good to me," Peter responds. "Perhaps we can meet up again at noon tomorrow and start the journey to Sparta. You wouldn't happen to know a good way of traveling there? I'm afraid I'm not very well versed with land travel."

"we can either take a cab or a train there I think a train is faster and more fun to go about things, unlesss you get motion sickness a lot we can do cab easier for the stomach." She smiled at Peter "your choice."
