Lionel and Vesper come running back into the lab. Lionel shuts the door behind them and then sits down on the floor, leaning his back against the wall. He is totally out of breath. He takes off his hat and unbuttons his coat. "Gee that was way too close for comfort."

The little sun leaves abd goes back outside, now that it's done raining. Vesper stops watching the classroom wkmdow, as she's sure that sun won't be bothering them anymore. She sighs, relieved. "Yeah. It was. Sorry I put you through that." Vesper walked over to the window again to see someone take her mother's hand. Who was that guy?

"I have no idea," Lionel replies. "This world just keeps getting weirder and weirder." He sits down hunched over on a chair in the lab. "You know, when things get this strange and incomprehensible, I sometimes get an urge to just give in to the Sun-Beast inside me. I know it wants to come out, and me holding it in by avoiding the sunlight becomes harder by the day. What if I just traveled to some deserted corner of the globe and set it loose?"

"Well, maybe you need to. I don't know. I just got my powers and for the longest time I thought it was just healing. I didn't know I could freeze things. I couldn't really let my powers loose though. Maybe an outlet could help you control it and study it..."

"You're right, Vesper. I have to do this, and I want to get it done as soon as possible." Lionel gets on his computer and starts looking for a good place to do it. He finds an uninhabited island in the Caribbean Sea called Klein Curaçao. "I'm going away tomorrow," he tells Vesper. "Don't tell anyone what I'm doing if you're asked about it. I shouldn't be gone too long."

Lionel Zoller got home from his mini vacation and immediately got to work on analysing his Sun-Beast footage in his lab. The transformation looked brutal. He was surprised his body was even capable of returning to normal after having taken that monstrous form. And the strength and speed of it was incredible. It plowed down that lighthouse like it was nothing. Lionel sat for hours on end analysing the video. Its contents were disturbing yet very impressive. Lionel had also been feeling very good ever since he let the Sun-Beast out on the island. For the last years he'd been feeling heavy and very depressed at times, but allowing the Sun-Beast to come out had made him feel better than he'd felt for a long time. His body now felt light and he felt hopeful and positive. However, he still definitely wanted to find a cure. He just hoped that he wouldn't get somehow addicted to turning into the beast. Since he felt so soothed and satisfied after the experience he feared he'd want to do it again, but he'd resist it no mater the cost.

Lionel decided that he would try to do good for all the bad he had caused. Four years ago this city suffered badly because of his Sun-Beast, so if he could help the city out in some way, it would at least help ease his conscience. He wouldn't give up on finding a cure for himself, but he was done with dedicating his life so primarily to himself. It was time to start helping others too. He didn't want to risk being compared to the Sun-Beast somehow though, or to get found out, so he decided to help others quite discretely. Helping people in need is a mighty fine thing to do. It's a tough job but with the right tools, Lionel felt confident he could do it. This way he could prevent disasters similar to the Sun-Beast from occurring again.
It took Lionel a few days, but when he was done he had a suit that he was very pleased with. It was bulletproof and very defensive but still easy to move around in. It covered every part of his body and was completely sun-proof. It had rocket boots that allowed him to hover in the air or fly shorter distances, and in each arm there were two guns, each with different types of ammunition. The eyes on the mask glow orange, and he's got a poncho with plenty of nifty inside pockets.
